[SOLVED] unable to change backlight in i3/sway [xbacklight,light]

I have arch in a usb that i use in a laptop (intel) and a desktop (nvidia) . (idk if this helps)
xbacklight worked well some days ago (polybar stopped showing the backlight icon and percentage too),  i tried adding "i915.enable_dpcd_backlight" as a kernel parameter, change directly from /etc/class/backlight/, installing light and nothing works, the only way i have to change it that works is on KDE plasma...
Same problem in another arch install (fresh) on sway (light)
I don't know what more information could be useful let me know  if you need something

As the recent change of light tells you about on installation, to use light to change display brightness, your user must be in the video group, is that the case?

added my user to video group and it works, thank you very much!!!!
how do i make polybar/waybar show the backlight icon and percentage again?
