Dota 2 can use different rendering apis. Try switching between OpenGL(add -gl to command line), Vulkan(install vulkan DLC and add -vulkan to command line) and DirectX9 (launch using Wine + Gallium Nine and add -dx9 to command line).

good evening
Try using open-gl and vulkan, but it always freezes, it can take a few minutes or seconds. I don't use I have wine installed
Offline
First you need to check the video chip for damage. Try to play dota on windows 10. And your statement that you have amdgpu driver installed looks suspicious. It is integrated into the kernel.

Hello EparionaD, I had some behave with Dota 2, the main difference the freeze was random. You should try to run the benchmark tool, Unigine heaven at less for 5 minutes if you can make the same problems as dota 2 this of course in your Arch system.
If you have the same problem I would recommend to undervolting your gpu and try again, it's a safe way to do it with rocm or you can check the wiki of the amdgpu you should put a parameter on the grub section that they recommend.
The better way is to put the max phase of you gpu at 5 or 6 (as root), I just put it on the 6 a level one less than the top and works ok, but you shoud try lower like 4 or 5, above I will put the commands that I use.
Also if you are using a 60hz+ monitor try to put the on 60hz or 120hz, see if those changes make your experience on dota better.
echo "manual" > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/power_dpm_force_performance_level
echo "1 2 3 4 5 " > /sys/class/drm/card0/device/pp_dpm_sclk

Dota 2 has a problem with open source mesa drivers it seems. Install vulkan-amdgpu-pro and use vk_pro to launch dota 2.
