[SOLVED] bluetooth headphones connect, aren't recognized by pulseaudio

When I connect my bluetooth headphones to a device (e.g. my phone), they play the sound "connected" in my ears

When I connect them through bluetoothctl, however, no such sound plays, and they are not recognized by pulseaudio (so no sound plays through them)

However, I cannot find any issues within bluetoothctl itself. If I type the "info" command after connecting, I get:

which doesn't seem to indicate any problems.

Re: [SOLVED] bluetooth headphones connect, aren't recognized by pulseaudio

pulseaudio-bluetooth installed? What's your output for

pacmd list-modules | grep blue

as well as a dmesg excerpt on connection, please post these (and edit your existing post) wrapped in [ code ] [ /code ] tags without the spaces for providing outputs.

Re: [SOLVED] bluetooth headphones connect, aren't recognized by pulseaudio

Fixed by forgetting the device from my phone. For some reason, even when my phone's bluetooth was turned off, it was interfering with the computer's ability to connect.
