Error updating Lenovo T490 firwmare with fwupdmgr

I want to install latest lenovo firmware updates for my T490 laptop. With fwupdmgr, I see the updates, however installation fails after a reboot.

This is the output from fwupdmgr (before reboot):

sudo fwupdgmgr update
No upgrades for System Firmware, current is 0.1.54: 0.1.54=same, 0.1.54=same, 0.1.52=older
Upgrade available for UEFI Device Firmware from 192.23.1311 to 192.35.1427
20N20049GE must remain plugged into a power source for the duration of the update to avoid damage. Continue with update? [Y|n]:

After a restart I get the following errors on screen and the firmware does not update.

CheckWufu() : (FOUND)
[DEBUG]
SCT ME Firmware Update Utility Version: 1.1
[DEBUG] Intel library version: 1041
Fail to fetch PDT.
[DEBUG] Look for PDT FW: Not Found.
Fail to fetch ISH.
[DEBUG] Look for ISH FW: Not Found.
[DEBUG] Look for ME FW: Success.
[DEBUG] Loading Me image from capsule.
[DEBUG]
Error 8725: Failed to receive last update status from the firmware

Is there any way to install these updates from within Arch?

Thank you in advance for your time.

Thanks for your reply. I checked them and apparently my setup meets the requirements. Moreover I can see the copied firmware .cap files in my esp partition as you can see below:

[root@blue ~]# ls -l /efi/EFI/Arch/fw --color
total 2728
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 43778 4. Nov 11:23 fwupd-3b8c8162-188c-46a4-aec9-be43f1d65697.cap
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 2746656 4. Nov 11:23 fwupd-bf2d0f8b-f9a9-400c-8914-36c225d16eb4.cap

However my Arch Kernel lies directly at /efi/. This shouldn't be a problem I guess since if somethat had gone wrong, I wouldn't see the firmware update messages after reboot I think.
