Front microphone panel not working

Hello !

I have a Creative X-Fi Titanium and I can only use the back panel directly on my sound card. Front panel is working fine on Windows.

I have pulseaudio installed. I have seen someone resolving a similar problem with this command :

pacmd set-sink-port alsa_output.pci-0000_00_1b.0.analog-stereo analog-output-headphones

But I'm too afraid to try that (Don't know what it does, and how to revert its effect in case of problem).
