[SOLVED] Blender does not start due to alembic update

with the following error:

blender: symbol lookup error: blender: undefined symbol: _ZN7Alembic3Abc3v1114OArrayProperty3setERKNS_15AbcCoreAbstract3v1111ArraySampleE

I suppose it is caused by the latest `alembic` update. Is there any quick way to fix it if I don't have previous `alembic` version pkg cached?

Re: [SOLVED] Blender does not start due to alembic update

Sorry, I wasn't very careful, I found that I have `alembic-1.7.11-2` cached and installing it fixed the issue. Also, there is a bug reported https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/64287

To answer your question -- in the event that you don't have the package cached, you can get it from the Arch Linux Archive.

Next time, you should not role back but repord a bug instead.
