[SOLVED] Installation guide lacking linux.preset

With the recent changes to mkinitcpio and linux* it is now mandatory to write your own linux.preset as it is not shipped any longer by either package.
Thus, the installation guide is lacking a part where the user creates such a file, if I am correct, resulting in no initramfs being generated and an unusable system.

Solution:
I didn't realize that the hook 90-mkinitcpio-install.hook is invoking /usr/share/libalpm/scripts/mkinitcpio-install thusly automatically generating a preset.
