I would suggest opening a bug report on the arch bug tracker asking for those commits to be backported.

You try building systemd locally with the commits from https://github.com/systemd/systemd/pull/13811

The pull request included four commits but I dropped the mailmap: add entry to fix authorship of commit as not relevant
Edit:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 3#p1872413 contains step by step instructions to build the package locally.

I am not sure whether this should be fixed now, I am on systemd 243.78-2. If I try to locally build the package, I can successfully clone the repository, however the patching phase fails since inside the backports section there is nothing, while it is expecting a comment and a line. Anyway, I tried patching it manually and then it fails when issuing the build command:

Also, it looks like it is actually building systemd 243.162-2 from the above output. I hope you can help me, thanks in advance.

I can say that for me the issue no longer exists.
I did not perform any additional steps detailed in bug reports or in threads in this forum.
Info on packages:
$ pacman -Q systemd
systemd 244.1-1
$ pacman -Q light-locker
light-locker 1.8.0-3

For me, the problem still is not fixed. It appeared for me first a few days ago, I cannot say which update was the reason.
Using XFCE with light-locker 1.9.0-2 and systemd 245.6-8.
Does somebody else experience the same problem (again)?

Yes, same for me with the same package versions.

I do not have the problem anymore as I uninstalled light-locker and am using XFCE's native screenlocker. https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 1#p1913741
Strictly more about that tool here: https://docs.xfce.org/apps/screensaver/start
Totally happy with it.
