pacman -Syu just updated 370 packages

Is that normal? I do a "pacman -Syu" almost every day and usually it's only a few packages involved.

Could there be any particular reason for such an upgrade?

Look at all the packages that were in the upgrade list. There was a significant python rebuild. It happens periodically.
