Either I'm really bad at finding info or I'm particularly effected by strange issues.
So when on GNOME on Wayland I am experiencing a strange clipboard issue, where most often (but not always) any Strg+C or Strg+X lands in the mouse middle click buffer.
I copy and paste a lot, usually only text, and I have the GPaste GNOME Shell Extension installed. So often I copy with Strg+C and when trying to paste with Strg+V nothing happens, but when I then use the mouse middle click it pasts what has been copied before with Strg+C or cut with Strg+X.
The issue seems to be on Wayland only (I have not experienced it in GNOME in Xorg Session so far) and appears only as described but not the other way around (so anything marked with the mouse does not land in the Strg+V buffer).
That (+ HiDPI scaling issues with apps running on Xwayland & broken VAAPI connected to Xwayland) has led me to use GNOME in Xorg Session right now, but this brings other annoyances (other HiDPI scaling issues and performance issues with fractional scaling).
If ungoogled-chromium-ozone becomes a reality, and that annoying clipboard issue could be solved, I think I'm better off going back to GNOME on Wayland.
Any ideas or findings?
