[SOLVED] Intel Optane 900p drivers needed?

I was told by Intel support that they have drivers for the Intel Optane 900p 480 GB AIC SSD that they generally tell people to use, even on Linux, but didn't know what to tell me with Arch.
I haven't set up drivers for anything other than my Nvidia graphics card before, so this is coming from a place of visible noobishness.
I've just recently gotten my Arch build up and running, and the Intel Optane 900p seems to be working fine, however Intel support said that "some things may work without the drivers, but not all".

Does anyone know which drivers would be needed for the Intel Optane 900p, if any? And how I would go about applying any updates?
With my Nvidia graphics card, it was as simple as updating some pacman packages and enabling a systemd service (unless I wasn't doing it right). I'm hoping it would be as simple for the Intel Optane 900p.

Do you have the latest kernel and linux-firmware? If so, you're good.
With Nvida card you installed proprietary drivers that are not in the linux kernel. Drivers that are a part of Linux are updated by updating Linux.

Re: [SOLVED] Intel Optane 900p drivers needed?

@Xabre, I do have the latest `linux` and `linux-firmware` packages, so I'll take your word on it that those include the latest drivers. Also, according to this page I found, Intel does not have any firmware updates available for the Intel Optane 900p, either.

tl;dr I should be good to go with this device. Thank you for the help!
