Weird Keyborad layout issue since latest updates.
Hello everybody,
i updated my Arch (with Gnome 3) and google-chrome from AUR 3 days ago.
Since then, i have a pretty weird keyboard layout issue.
I have a german keyboard but i am using the english layout for coding so switch it sometimes via the Gnome integrated keyboard layout switcher.
Since the update, Google Chrome and some webkit based apps (like Rambox) are always using the english layout and do not care at all about the Gnome settings. Switching the layout in Gnome still works fine.
It drives me crazy because i basically only definatly need the german layout in chrome and my Rambox chat apps (writing german texts with german special character like Ä, Ö, Ü...)
Any ideas what could cause that issue on how to fix it?

Gnome on wayland ./. gnome on Xorg issue?
