[SOLVED] No space left on device: mkfs.fat

Following arch installation guide and unable to set EFI System partition to type FAT32. Returns error "zsh: no space left on device: mkfs.fat". Created partitions using fdisk with GPT type. Thanks in advance for help

Partitions:
/dev/sdb1 512M EFI System (boot)
/dev/sdb2 32G Linux filesystem (root)
/dev/sdb3 4G Linux filesystem (swap)
/dev/sdb4 429.3G Linux filesystem (home)

Please post the exact command you used to format the partititon.

Solved via rebooting and using same command to format boot directory.

mkfs.fat -F32 /dev/sdb1

Issue being that I filled up the tmp directory via attempting to update packages before.

pacman -Syu
