How to use the laptop speaker and the headphone jack simultaneously?

Is it possible? When I plug the headphone jack, or the stereo speakers on the desktop, the laptop tiny speakers automatically get muted. Can I unmute them somehow, or preventing the auto mute? I would like to hear the laptop speakers and the speakers on my desktop simultaneously.

On most onboard cards in laptops there is quite often a literal Auto-Mute Mode control you can set to disabled: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ad … on_startup replace the -c 0 with whatever the correct index is.
