[Solved] [Evolution] Folders list disappears

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with Evolution.
After launch, I can see my IMAP folders list on the left panel. After some time, it will just disappears, leaving me with only one folder: Inbox. Even there, the folders list can "blink" and my messages list will disappear. I have to select Inbox again to display it.

I have tried to delete my account and create it again. I have also tried to delete everything related to evolution in my home folder (.config/evolution, etc.).

I have another user (different session) who is not affected by this issue.

Any idea?

Thanks!

Re: [Solved] [Evolution] Folders list disappears

Hello,

Something interesting: with another IMAP account from another provider, I do not have this issue.

Just to be sure, I did the following:

evolution --force-shutdown
rm -rf ~/.local/share/evolution
rm -rf ~/.cache/evolution
rm -rf ~/.config/evolution
dconf reset -f /org/gnome/evolution/

I have also tried to unsubscribe, then subscribe, my folders.

Is something wrong with the IMAP server? It is working perfectly well with other client like Thunderbird, K9 (Android) or Rainloop webmail (on my Nextcloud server).

Any idea? Thank you!

EDIT : I think the problem is solved. I had to set the max number of concurrent connections from 3 to 1 in the account options.
