I've been trying to run a virtual macos Mojave virtual machine.
I've succeeded in getting it up and running as a standard vm without any gpu passthrough. However, the screen tearing and overall jankiness is bad. So I tried gpu passthrough.
While I couldn't passthrough my iGPU (Intel Xeon E3-1200), I did succeed in getting the vm to run on a passed through Nvidia GPU (GT 1030). This was swell, especially after really working at it, but the damn screen is still tearing and very janky.
I'd be grateful for any ideas that I could explore to solve this problem.
TIA

What are you running on the non passed through GPU? Which environment, which xorg driver? Try to uninstall xf86-video-intel if it is installed.

Thanks for the help!
I'm running Arch on my host. xf86-video-intel isn't installed, while the xorg-server is v. 1.20.6-1.
