disable modules

I'm trying to disable some modules from loading such as a bunch of sata drivers that I don't need and agpgart.  I put them in the MOD_BLACKLIST variable in rc.conf but that did not do the trick.

Re: disable modules

I'm not sure.  I have the stock kernel and the beyond kernel.  So I'm using initrd.img and kernel26beyond.img respectively

Re: disable modules

In that case, look at /etc/mkinitrd.conf (or something like that, I'm not at my machine). You can specify which filesystem modules you want loaded, for example. After editing, recreate the images.
