Can't start gnome-boxes on xfce, it gives a GLib-CRITICAL error

I'm trying to install and use gnome-boxes on my machine but everytime I try to launch it, it gives me this error ((gnome-boxes:7221): GLib-CRITICAL **: 08:00:44.520: g_variant_get_child_value: assertion 'index_ < g_variant_n_children (value)' failed
) and then closes it. I tried to reinstall, clear the pacman cache and more and it didn't worked

Are you running a Wayland session? An X11 session? I'd try starting it with GDK_BACKEND=x11 gnome-boxes.
