Hello,
I followed the install guide at https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/installation_guide.
I created a 10 gb sda1 partition where arch is installed. My host is a Mint 19.3 Cinnamon machine installed as a UEFI on a gpt drive with AMD CPU.
When I boot from live dvd ,
ls /sys/firmware/efi/efivars
/sys/firmware/efi/efivars not found
Hence I assume that the install will be in BIOS and not UEFI. I see that 1.6 GB is the data on sda1. When trying to install AMD firmware I got error.
I can not boot from sda1. I havent created swap partition, though sda is 12gb , sda1 is 10gb. The iso I use is archlinux-2019.06.01-x86_64.iso .
Thanks for any help

That is quite helpful and will require some time to understand.
Meanwhile I wonder if there is a docker image of Arch Cinnamon and how to run it. I have installed docker on my Mint 19.3.

There is no such thing as 'Arch Cinnamon' you've either installed Arch or you haven't.....

I meant after installing Arch I wanted to install the Cinnamon desktop.
