The wiki's subpage feature (article/subpage) is available for your userpage as well. Using it you could create the draft on a blank subpage. Please note that userpage content must not be categorized, but all other features can be used.
I haven't been able to figure out how to do this,
Should article and subpage be replaced by existing names or are they treated as keywords/actions ?
Are there user pages that use this or is there an example page somewhere ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

What actions did you perform to create it that way ?
How would you add a second article subpage (say wolves/annoying ) ?

I just typed in the URL and created the page...

That works and creates a new page .
I could create lone_wolf/testing and lone_wolf/testing/foo .
Seems I misinterpreted subpages , to me these look like additonal pages and the connection is not that visible until after creation.
Now I can spread content over multiple pages that are linked together.
