Chromecast application for casting videos with subs

Hi!

Im looking for an application that can cast .MKV files with external sub support (.srt/idx files) to Chromecast.

I have found gnomecast in AUR, but it is not updated. Do anyone of you use a good program for this that you can recommend?

A quick google for "linux and chromecast" gave me plenty of options. Have you tried anything but gnomecast at all?

Thanks for a quick reply . I have tried a few before posting this.

1. VLC doesnt support subtitles
2. Webbrowser Chrome is not an alternative
3. Videostreamer doesnt work with Linux

I have found "mkchromecast" but is unable to test it for the moment. Anyone have tried it maybe?
