I installed KDE and I use SDDM as my login-manager, I installed Qtile and I have Python version 3.8.1-1 and a lot of other Python-software which automatically came installed with other software. I followed the steps on the Archwiki, I copied the config-file to the appropriate folder (~/.config/qtile) and I verified that there is no problem with the code with "python2 -m py_compile ~/.config/qtile/config.py". In SDDM Qtile is listed but whenever I select it the system just keeps hanging. I can still move the mouse or open a TTY but nothing happens. When I enter
echo "exec qtile" > /tmp/.start_qtile ; xinit /tmp/.start_qtile -- :2
in my terminal then I get this output:
/usr/lib/Xorg.wrap: Only console users are allowed to run the X server
xinit: giving up
xinit: unable to connect to X server: Connection refused
xinit: server error
I have no idea what is going on other than that apparently Xorg can't be used when I try to start-up Qtile but obviously this is not a problem when I start KDE.
I did nothing out of the ordinary, I simply installed Arch, Xorg, plasma, SDDM, I did a systemctl enable for SDDM and I installed Qtile.

Sounds like qtile starts up as expected when started from SDDM. What do you expect to happen? From my understanding from reading the wiki you will be presented with a pretty blank desktop where you can start a xterm terminal (granted it's installed) with Super+Enter and then go from there.
You might also want to look through your ~/.xsession-errors and or journal.

I tried that out. I got no response when I hit the Windows-key or the alt-key in combination with the enter key after changing "xterm" to "konsole" because I don't use xterm. Also I am pretty certain that you should see a statusbar with letters at the bottom with the default-config, I don't see that. i3-gaps and awesome do start up. There seems to be a bug.

I don't have an .xsession-errors file or folder in my home-folder.

Starting
Run qtile with xinit.
Did you follow the link to the xinit page and setup things correctly ?
If unsure, post ~/.xinitrc .
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
