[SOLVED] Firefox Session not deleted

Hi,

I use Plasma KDE.
Under Settings > Startup and Shutdown > Desktop Session, I have "End current session" for the leave option and "Start with an empty session" for the on login option. Nothing in the "Applications to be excluded from sessions".
On firefox I have not selected "Restore previous session" under the Preferences > Startup option.

When I open a new Firefox window, I have a new session. But when I reboot (or shutdown - power up), and open a new FireFox window, all of my previous windows with tabs are open!
I usually have one messenger window, one youtube window, and one window with programming tutorials when I use linux, but I don't want to remember them!

I have found nothing about session problem with firefox on the forums except theses two old ones (one and two), but I don't think they are related because when I open a new window I don't get all my tabs opened, it's only when I open Firefox for the first time after startup I have all my old windows opened.

I don't know what info to give, I can share more if you ask.

I suspect that firefox is not terminated cleanly when you reboot and it thinks it has to recover from a crash. I don't know how to improve that. Maybe add a systemd inhibitor that sends a termination signal to firefox and then delays the shutdown (the default maximum possible delay is 5 seconds).

I think you were one the right path. Firefox do not end correctly on shutdown and crash.
I have found how to disable session recovery from crash:

New Tab, addres: "about:config"
search "browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash"
disable this.

I tried to kill Firefox before, session was restored.
I tried after, no session restored.
