picom didn't work on xfce4-terminal on awesome wm

Hi there im using awesome wm with xfce4-terminal. I download and install the picom then add ```awful.util.spawn_with_shell("picom")``` to my rc.lua file but my terminals opacity is still the same. How can I figure out this?

does running picom from a terminal give you the result your looking for? if not, then it's probably a picom configuration issue
