I recently installed vsftpd on arch linux. My hope was to allow file sharing between it and another windows 10 computer (which uses filezilla). I have gone through the wiki page, and have gotten to the point where I can at least get the TLS connection established. For some reason, the server is rejecting the login credentials. I have gone through forum posts for several hours attempting all the different fixes offered. Nothing has seemed to help. The certificates should be all right. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled it in the hopes that that might work (The second time around I didn't mess with chroot. I can re-enable all of those features if they're needed).
Is there anything I have missed?

I know this is maybe a bit late but:
I'm having the same error. (It worked previously but not anymore).
Can you change the
pam_service_name=vsftpdto
pam_service_name=ftp.
According to this site vsftpd is not allowed.
But there could also be other problems.
Also it would be easier if you would delete all of the commends in your config file (or just keep important once)
