[?SOLVED?] No notification history:notify-send and plasmashell >= 5.16

Something is broken with the update of plasma, i don't know when it happened, nor if it is just an issue of mine, but in the past, i was able to keep every notification in history by using notify-send and now it does not.
Those commands:

notify-send "hello" "world"
notify-send "hello" "world" -u normal
notify-send "hello" "world" -u normal -a "notify send"
notify-send "hello" "world" -u normal -a "notify send" -c "test"
notify-send "hello" "world" --hint=string:desktop-entry:midori -a midori

...all produce a notification that lasts for a couple of seconds, then vanishes in the void.
I use notify-send by a couple of scripts, and i'm losing all of the unread notifications if i'm playing a game or watching a movie.
In the past, i'm 100% sure that they were living in the tray.

Is it an issue of mine or just another plasma *feature* ?

Thanks.

-EDIT
seems due to this: https://cgit.kde.org/plasma-workspace.g … 00ca20c55a
...and for some reason, the "midori" entry didn't worked, while konsole do.
The following goes into history:

notify-send -a konsole -h string:desktop-entry:konsole title content

I wonder if there is another way for a notification to be "configurable" without "stealing" a .desktop file from another app and without registering a new .desktop file just to use the history.
