Bluetooth won't work: "hci0 Reading Intel version information failed"

Hi, Arch users! I had bluetooth working fine till today when I needed to add a USB storage device. The usb device didn't work, the system couldn't see it (`lsblk` didn't show anything). So tried rebooting the system. Before that I did `pacman -Syu`. Also I installed (later uninstalled virtualbox-ext-oracle) from AUR. Now the usb storage drive is seen by the system but bluetooth does not work. Could you please help?

[I] ➜ sudo systemctl restart bluetooth.service bluetooth.target

Re: Bluetooth won't work: "hci0 Reading Intel version information failed"

That's strange enough but after several reboots it started to work. I didn't do anything touchy except investigating the issue: installed `lshw`, `usbutils`, made sure in BIOS Bluetooth is on, investigated ouput of `lspci`, restarted bluetooth.service and bluetooth.target. My device for Bluetooth is "00:14.3 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wireless-AC 9560 [Jefferson Peak] (rev 10)" (spec at https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/p … brief.pdf). This load my `dmesg` didn't contain the errors.

Is the issue about the order of loading of wifi and bluetooth modules / deamons or something? Something about Intel Wifi and BT coexistence? https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ne … oexistence

[I] ➜ lspci -k -s 00:14.3

Re: Bluetooth won't work: "hci0 Reading Intel version information failed"

Found that same error here, it seems to appear randomly.

I found this checking another strange issue : when the laptop is not docked, it randomly freeze. Sometimes, I don't even have the time to enter my ZFS pool passphrase at startup.
If i dock it, issue is gone. Don't know if it is related.

Here logs of multiple freeze/hard reboot before docking.
