Hi,
I have bought an Intel AX200HMW Mini PCIE card to update my old Lenovo T410. Unfortunately I'm experiencing strange problems.
When using NetworkManager, the card connects to 2.4 GHz network and receives an IP number but it also shows an exclamation mark in tray and it's impossible to visit any pages, including the router at 192.168.0.1
Trying to connect to 5 GHz fails on retrieving IP number.
I thought that this might be a hardware problem but the card works fine in Windows and even in Manjaro. Manjaro has the same linux-firmware version and only slightly older kernel (5.4.11).
I've read the forums for any clues but none of the suggestions helped. I've tried disabling power management and switching NetworkManager to dhclient, neither helped.
I would be grateful for any suggestions on how I can continue solving the problem.
Best regards,
Crocodil

Hi @billiejeanmc
I've simply used the latest intel drivers and with those the card works fine. It didn't work at all with the drivers that Windows Update would download.

Thank you very much! Previously I've used Intel AC 7260 and it turns out I had these options in /etc/modprobe.d/iwlwifi.conf:
options iwlwifi 11n_disable=8 swcrypto=1After removing the file, everything started working fine ![]()
I forgot all about it as the file was last modified in 2017 ![]()
