[Solved] gcc-libs `base` group confusion

After last years base group replacement I was surprised to notice gcc-libs still shows up as a member of the base group. Nothing urgent, broken or otherwise faulty with my Arch Linux installations. Just confused that even when the gcc-libs PKGBUILD explicitly removed the groups=(base) array, pacman still believes it is part of it:

$ pacman -Qg base
base gcc-libs

Is this to be considered the 'new' normal? A non-existing group with members. Might make an interesting topic at a sociology conference. Can anyone de-confuse this situation?

Re: [Solved] gcc-libs `base` group confusion

The trunk PKGBUILD for gcc-libs removed it from the group base but there has been no release containing that update so https://git.archlinux.org/svntogit/pack … a46ffb3264 still contains the entry.

@loqs I noticed that. So this will be done/gone in a future release... One less thing! Thanks.
