NVIDIA version problem!

my screensaver wont run anymore.. I am only getting this error:
Error: API mismatch: the NVIDIA kernel module has the version 1.0-8762, but
this client has the version 1.0-8774.  Please make sure that the kernel
module and all NVIDIA driver components have the same version.
Segmentation fault

I have updated many times now.. Any ideas?

I am missing the bounching cows

Tried a reboot? Or reloading the "nvidia" module with "modprobe nvidia" and restarting X?

Which kernel are you using (uname -r)?

Does that match up with /lib/modules?

e.g. I have

$ uname -r
2.6.17-ARCH
$ ls /lib/modules/
2.6.17-ARCH

It looks like you installed nvidia driver in wrong way! You should remove it first in console mode and then install it again. For me it works perfect
