My work requires me to use Grasshopper calling service in order to function as part of the virtual office for my job.
Genymotion does not provide compatibility for the app on Arch.
And the rest of the fora and the wiki come up with nothing.
I was wondering if anyone was aware of any projects in development for porting or creating a compatible UI for working with the Grasshopper service.
I appreciate any thoughts y'all might have.

No idea about grasshopper maybe you could post a link to that app ?
There's an aur pacakge for genymotion : https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/genymotion , does that help ?

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky

Grasshopper is windows app (or android), so you will have to use wine or virtualbox to run it.

There is the website.
Tried running it under wine, and it didn't work. I was prevented from logging in by it not recognizing my cursor, and so I was unable to type in anything it would recognize.
That is, the username and password fields did not respond to my keystrokes.
Will try virtualbox though.

Genymotion ran fine, but when I went to install Grasshopper from the apps store, it said "your device isn't compatible with this version". And I tried it with SEVERAL devices.
So, it appears to be a complete bust.
That said, I will try virtual box and report back because Wine didn't load it all up.
Thanks for the suggestion, though, Lone_Wolf.
