Lenovo X1 Carbon (gen 6) fails to resume from S3 Suspend

About a week or so ago (sadly, I do not recall), a system -Syu update caused my machine to fail to resume from suspend (S3).   It was working fine before this.  The final entry in journalctl -b -1 is "Feb 14 14:35:34 auriol systemd[1]: Starting Suspend..."  The kernel is Linux auriol 5.5.3-arch1-1 #1 SMP PREEMPT Tue, 11 Feb 2020 15:35:41 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux.  Using fwupd, my various bits of firmware are fully up to date.  It happens consistently.

I haven't had time yet to go in and try an older kernel, nor file a bug report.  I did search arch's bug tracker and the kernel bug tracker and did not see this issue.

Hoping to find a confirmation ("metoo") of the problem; even better some hint at a solution.  Let me know if you'd like more information too!

Thanks so much in advance.

ETA: This appears intermittent; sometimes it resumes from suspend but sometimes it does not (more often not)
