Wifi speeds slow down after some time

This is a really weird error and I would really appreciate some help in debugging this. Recently I've noticed that my wifi speeds get slower over time. I have no idea how, or why, but when I initially boot my computer the speeds are as expected. Over time, they get slower. It seems that restarting my computer does the trick. The only change I've had recently is that I installed other kernels and used the dkms versions of tp_smapi and acpi_call, both of which I don't think should affect my network speeds (of course I could be mistaken).

Wifi card: Intel Corporation Wireless 8265 / 8275 (iwlwifi) on a Lenovo Thinkpad T480s.

Let me know whatever other information I should provide

I think Im seeing the same issue with the same wifi card, but I'm not using a ThinkPad. Do you have it solved?
