Wifi-menu not scanning availab wifi profiles during Arch installation

Good Evening Guys..

Hello I'm trying to install Arch Linux on my new HP notebook using wifi. I have been trying for so long but the command wifi-menu is not working when I run it. Is not scanning the available networks. This is what it displays when I run it.

Usage: wifi-menu [-h | --help] [-o | --obscure] [INTERFACE]

Interactively connect to a wireless network on INTERFACE using netctl.
If only one wireless network interface is available, INTERFACE can be ommitted.

Can somebody please help if u have any idea what's the issue?

Thanks!

Maybe include the obviously incorrect command that you are running...

And, after you re-read the error message, do you see the issue?

Read this: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Netctl#Usage

Re: Wifi-menu not scanning availab wifi profiles during Arch installation

If only one wireless network interface is available, INTERFACE can be ommitted.

In other words : If you have more then one wireless network interface, specifying the interface is mandatory.

post ip link output to verify which network interfaces your machine has.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
