ACPI and lmsensors fail on plasma5-applets-thermal-monitor

The thermal monitor plasmod has recently stopped working for me. The udisks sensors work, but the acpi and lmsensors sensors only show "OFF". l7x9Fjc.png 0UTAjZ0m.png

I've attempted reloading sources, but this doesn't fix it. There is a mention here of a change in the naming of lm_sensors, but I wasn't sure how to apply the fix. Also, I'm not sure that this is relevant anyway, given acpi also fails for me. Is there a missing dependency, or some patch required? I do have lm_sensors installed.

In that screenshot of the KDE tool, are those your old entries that you created when things still worked? Can you try creating a new entry right now and see what sources are available?

Thanks for the response. The first (acpi) was the old entry that used to work. I created the latter two entries as tests. These are the possible sources when I attempt to create a new entry.

Interestingly (?) my other Arch system is fine with acpi.

Re: ACPI and lmsensors fail on plasma5-applets-thermal-monitor

Bizarrely, I realised today that all three sensors were suddenly working. To test further, I then restarted plasma, but they were failing again. On the plasmoid, I reloaded temperature sources, but it was still failing.

Probably not relevant, but the only thing in the terminal was this:
