TouchPad:Plasma 5 lininput instead of xf86-input-synaptic undex X.org

Hello;
I am using KDE Plasma 5 on a laptop installed with **pacman -S plasma** command. I want to know if I get the same functionality over my touchpad if I remove {xf86-input-synaptics} and install {xf86-input-libinput }.
Right now I get:
a. bottom horizontal scrolling
b. right vertical edge scrolling
and :
programmable for edge as one tap on each corner to act as left, middle or right click.
Could I get the same functionality if I do the switch?
Thank you.

PS; dell inspiron 1545

Hi.
Well, try it out, you can always switch back to the synaptics driver.
If you doubt that not, then you can make a full backup before.

For a, b & c: yes, all with the kde settings
