arch does not load

I have installed the iso file on a new SD card. It starts and goes through the check screens with all ok . It attempts to boot then freezes with root@archiso~# I have checked the cmos -  uefi is disabled . I updated the cmos and started again. Any suggestions.

Um, yeah.  That is exactly what it is supposed to do.
Now you enter commands to install Arch Linux using the installation guide
