Chinese font rendering problem

Firstly.. I have installed ttf-arphic-uming, ttf-arphic-ukai and ttf-fireflysung. Idon't really understand why most of characters have rendered except for that one. This happens very sporadically (but always the same ones).

I do not have a clue why this is miscoloured like that.. I think this only occurs with chinese.

Any help is appreciated.

Take a look at this site. It is written mainly with simplified Chinese in mind but the technique applies to both.

I'm actually quite poor at reading chinese, but I am fluent at speaking it. It'sjust my friends insist on using chinese in their MSN names and such, so I'd like them actually to render properly..

What is that website about?

It's subpixeling. Maybe you specified the setting for this font somewhere?
