I just encountered this recently. My keyboard is USB type, Delux K6300 to be specific.
The keyboard doesn't work when I turn on the machine. It just doesn't work, I couldn't get into BIOS settings or choose the option in GRUB menu (luckily I just have Arch so it booted automatically).
But if I replug it, anytime after turning on, it works, I don't know how.
For now I have to replug it everytime I turn on the machine, which should affects the socket, so I want to find a way to fix this.
I have another arch laptop, and the keyboard works normally there. Any help is appreciated. I would give out any detail if needed.
