XGL is running and all, but with problems.
1) woobly effect isn't responsive at all. You start moving the window but it doesn't follow, suddenly it jumps irrationally to somewhere else on the screen.
2) Zoom in/out effects aren't working
3) "Arrange and View All Windows" effect doesn't work by pressing F12, it only works when moving the cursor to the right top corner of the screen
4) "Move window" works but "Resize window" doesn't work
Cube is the only plugin that works as supposed.
Please note that all plugins are enabled and that all these effects worked on kororaa Xgl livecd on the same hardware.

Forgot to mention that I've got an Intel 915 GM graphics card and that the DRI driver (i915) is properly installed.

This may be an Intel 915 thing, because my windows weren't dragging around right either. It seems to be Compiz-exclusive (meaning other WMs work fine in Xgl).

What other WMs? I thougth that you had to run Compiz to get the best of XGL.

Yeah, you do have to run Compiz or there isn't much reason to run Xgl (unless you just like the warm fuzzy feeling it gives you). I just meant that plain old WMs don't exhibit any problems. It's not really significant, but I threw it out there anyway.

You need to check the config; run gconf-editor, apps/compiz
Some default settings have been changed.
