cant install plasma-desktop, "exists in filesystem"

I tried installing the plasma-desktop using "sudo pacman -S plasma"
but it was interrupted because i accidentally reset my pc.

now i get a bunch of "exists in filesystem" errors when trying to install it again, is there any way to fix this?

i tried "sudo pacman -S --overwrite plasma" but i get "error: no targets specified (use -h for help)"

is there any way to fix this?

Please post the full output of `sudo pacman -S plasma`

--overwrite <glob>
           Bypass file conflict checks and overwrite conflicting files...

The glob is not optional.  So "plasma" is treated as a required parameter to the overwrite option, and which point there is nothing left on the command line ... you did not specify any targets to install.  Of course you intended "plasma" as an install target, but then you need to add the glob you want to overwrite.

ok, i managed to fix it. i ran "sudo pacman -S --overwrite "*" plasma" witch fixed the problem

Alternatively avoiding using overwrite

# pacman -S --dbonly plasma
# pacman -S plasma
