Gnome-Shell Crash Every Two to Three Boots
Hello! I am using gnome desktop environment with Arch Linux. It hangs every 2-3 boots. I have tried to do research on this issue to no avail. Closest thing I could find was gnome-session that would crash every 2-3 boots and to fix it you would disable session saving through gsettings. I tried this but it did not work for me. What happens is right after systemd finishes starting all its processes get left with a black screen with a blinking cursor in the upper left of the screen. Sometimes, when this event occurs, I get to the logon screen but after I type my password it loads for a second and then pops back to the initial logon screen instead of going to the desktop. I can switch to tty and logon from there. I have tried restarting gdm through a tty but I usually (sometimes it works) have to restart the computer to get it to work again. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have no idea what to do here.

Looks like a libinput crash... But as ArchLinux does not provide debug symbols, backtrace is not useful.

I'm seeing gnome-shell crashes too on multiple machines after the update to 3.36. The crashes have all occurred while logged in and working on things, so this is pretty irritating. No mention of libinput as far as I can see, so not 100% sure if this is the same issue. It crashes either to a black screen with a blinking cursor or to a tty with systemd stuff in it.
I'm using the Wayland session.
Might be advisable to move GNOME 3.36 into testing before more people upgrade.

I also experience crashes since update to 3.36. I though it was related to the extensions, but it's not, it happened also when all extensions were off.
While I am working in a wayland session (I cannot really say if this happens also in Xorg as I never use it), it just randomly crashes, I see for a few seconds what I guess are systemd messages on the tty (like during boot) and then I get back to the gdm login screen. Sometimes I am able to relogin and work again, sometimes the session didn't really crashed and the user was still logged in, such that all windows and stuff open remained open and some other times it just crashes again while I am re-logging in and I go back to gdm. At that point I usually restart.
There are several entries in the GNOME logs app, but I don't know what should I report here that makes sense (also, I don't know which are the commands I should issue from the terminal to get those logs.)

Desktop AMD FX8300/NVIDIA GT730 GNOME/Xorg
