Hello, I am experiencing problem using Gnome 3.36.0 :
I have set Adwaita light theme using Tweaks program (see image), but it doesn't change some applications background color (i.e. Nautilus, and Terminal).
What could be wrong?
I have KDE plasma installed on this computer too if that could matter.
Sorry for big image.

Did you restart the applications in question? Runtime apply is always finicky, double check that they aren't accidentally set to dark mode or so.

Thanks for quick reply,
In previous version of KDE Plasma System Settings application I had set "Prefer Dark GTK3 Theme" in "GNOME application style (GTK)" sub-menu on left, but in the most recent Plasma version I cant't find that option.
Now, I set all options to light theme, but Nautilus background is still dark (but meniu and window decorations are light).

I have tied to reboot, but that doesn't help.

You should be able to set that same setting from GNOME Tweaks, double check the config file in doubt: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/GT … figuration

Thanks, I deleted config files, and it worked!
Previously GNOME Tweaks didn't help to fully switch to light as I described, but now it is also switching as expected.
Maybe there were some changes after system updates.
