Computer acting a little weird

Hello!

I'm having some problems with my computer. I did a fresh arch install last saturday and today my pc hanged twice. X.org log has nothing fishy. I've been using arch for three months without problems. The only thing I've changed from the last install is that now I'm using openbox and pypanel instead of gnome and openbox.

My pc hanged for the first time while I was using firefox and gaim. A black screen came out and everything froze. The second hang came without the black screen. I don't know if it helps but I got these lines in a terminal:

(gvim:3410): Gdk-WARNING **: GdkWindow 0x140027e unexpectedly destroyed

(gvim:3410): Gdk-WARNING **: GdkWindow 0x140027d unexpectedly destroyed

No errors in memtest. Any hints on what is causing this?

Thanks and regards,

Gustavo

Re: Computer acting a little weird

but if i remember correctly i had some issues with X.org stressing(?) the X server.... all was well once i upgraded the  gtk2 packages though... I'd recommend making sure all your packages are up to-date..
feel free to use the testing and unstable repos as well...
they are stable, imho... just very new releases..
