fcitx ctrl+space not working on KDE

So I tried doing a clean install, but it's still broken.
Fcitx-related packages:

install fcitx-{gtk2,gtk3,qt5} and set the environment variables system-wide (has to be set for the processes where you want it to work)

@frostschutz Those packages are installed, fcitx-im provides them. Which environment variables did you mean?

the ones listed in that diagnose output you yourself posted ("please set environment variable ...")

@frostschutz I tried putting those into ~/.xprofile and ~/.xinitrc. That message is still shown.
