[SOLVED] Can't open links from tilda and mate-terminal with CTRL+click

Hello, as the title says, I only recently noticed this issue. Don't know if it is related with new version of mate desktop. Although I tested tilda from xfce DE and still didn't work.
Previously the link would be highlighted on mouse hoover, now it's just plain text.
I've tried other terminal emulators to see if it is general or only these two programs. I've tried in xfce4-terminal, qterminal and lxterminal and they all work when CTRL+click on link.
Do you also experience this issue or is it only me ?

Re: [SOLVED] Can't open links from tilda and mate-terminal with CTRL+click

Thank you for the response. I've downgrade vte3 to version 0.58.3-1 from 0.60.0-1 and it works again, and ignored the package.
Not sure if I should mark it as [SOLVED] since it is a workaround and not fixed in tilda and mate-terminal. Maybe [DUPLICATE] ?
There are two bugs reported already for the same issue:
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/65772
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/65783
Sorry, I should have searched more.

Re: [SOLVED] Can't open links from tilda and mate-terminal with CTRL+click

Actually I partially misunderstood the previous issue.  While this is a bit of a duplicate question - I thought vte3 was patched and upgraded.  But lxterminal was patched to work with the new vte3.  It looks like other terminal emulators that use vte3 also need to be patched.  Check for bug reports on your terminal, and if they don't exist yet, feel free to create one linking to the lxterminal bug as a reference/example of the problem and solution.
