I recently purchased a 5700XT with the intention of using it to play games on Arch. I had to send the first one back as I had many issues with it, and the new one seems to be working so far. The one issue I have which remains is that the sound will intermittently cut out over HDMI at times. This can last about a second, or sometimes a few seconds, then the sound will come back again. This issue wasn't present when I was using a Nvidia GPU (1070Ti), and I don't recall it happening when I had a VEGA 64 either.
Has anyone else encountered HDMI audio issues like this before? I'm using the latest development version of mesa, and I'm on a zen2 kernel 5.5.9-24-tkg-pds.
