Hello!
Fresh arch install on a new machine, running PCI RTX 2080 SUPER. using linux-lts and nivida-lts. i3 as wm.
Everything appears to work, except nvidia-settings does not open and reports:
ERROR: Unable to load info from any available system
.
The hardware setup was validated by the builder on windows 10 and everything was OK there including the nivida control panel.
Did not find relevant results in the forum (the message appears in some notebook situations, but none found for desktops). Not sure how to hunt for this, and/or what should i be posting for more help. Below is the output of nvidia-smi which seems fine (when something is rendering, the GPU-Util % goes up).
Thanks!
Alex.

Would you suggest i post the issue to a different board? (i was not sure, but "hardware" seemed the right one).
And/or can anybody running the RTX 2080 SUPER confirm nividia-settings works for them?

i don't have a 2080 super, but instead a 2070 super and zero issues. nvidia-settings work. gsync works. everything works

How are you starting i3? This might just be session/bus issues.
