Xrandr detects HDMI-0 as connected even when powered off

Hi,
My problem is just like in the topic.
Xrandr says always that HDMI-0 is connected as long as the HDMI cable is connected to monitor, even when monitor is powered off or plugged out of power supply.
Display port works fine - when turned off xrandr says it is disconnected.
I have nvidia 1080 with proprietary drivers.

Is it normal for HDMI or something is wrong with my config?

I tried to search it everywhere, but only found topics about xrandr not detecting HDMI, which is the opposite of my problem.

Nvidia? Known issue; years old;nobody relly cars.

Can you please clarify whether this means the output is detected when you connect to the unpowered monitor or does this rather mean that the output does not disappear even if you cut the monitors power supply?
Hotplug detection requires the monitor to provide voltage on pin 19 - which has to come from somewhere…
