I play games and I would really like mouse acceleration for those (while using i3).
I have been trying for a few hours now but I couldn't find the solution.
The wiki guide is a bit incomplete and following these instructions I broke X (I restored it now).
This old thread seemed promising but after running "sudo pacman -R libinput xf86-input-libinput" I got this error:
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: removing libinput breaks dependency 'libinput' required by qt5-base
:: removing xf86-input-libinput breaks dependency 'xf86-input-libinput' required by xorg-server
I really need help with this one!
thanks in advance

Which instructions did you follow how exactly and in what way did "broke xorg" show itself? Post the config file you broke your xorg with. You should generally stick to libinput, most other options are deprecated. I'd assume you should set Accel Profile to flat and Accel Speed to 0 if possible.

Yeah I did that exactly and, then x just wouldn't start!

Unless you post a xorg.log from "broke" and the exact config file that lead to "broke" it's going to be hard to help you. What's your output of
xinput list-props $deviceId #Where deviceId is the id of the mouse from xinput

Thanks a lot for your help but I tried it again and it worked. I probably had a typo!
